2011 so far!

I am back! Or at least for now! 2011 has been a whirlwind so far! Can't believe January is over with. But, I am excited to see what February will bring. So, in Jan. I hosted a Mary Kay party cause I was not satisfied with the products I was using. Emily East drove up from Oxford to do a Dash and Go party for my friends and myself. I feel in love with the products! A couple of days later I agreed to help Emily with some of her training. I listened to the Sunday night conference call and I was inspired my the ladies I heard. Whitney Blomberg talked to me on how the beauty consultants make money with Mary Kay. I was interested. Have never given any thought about selling make-up. I stink at putting make up on and don't wear it that often, but I could not get it out of my mind. Teaching as been really rough for me lately and I was looking for something fun to do and make some extra money. I am tutoring right now for extra cash and it is not fun at all! The more I talked to Whitney and Emily the more I knew I wanted to become a beauty consultant with Mary Kay. I ordered my starter kit and was so excited! Everything fell into place and I am having my debut party this Friday night! I can not wait to get my business started and make a better life for myself!

Review Post

I decided I will start blogging about books, movies, cds, electronics , etc that I used and what I think about them! Today I am going to start with one of my Christmas presents, The Kobe. The Kobe is Border's version of the Kindle. The price was reasonable and it was very easy to set up! The first thing is to download the Border software. Once I got that downloaded, it was so easy to get books to my readers! They have tons of free books and books that are cheap! I got all 15 of the Wizard of Oz books for 89 cents! AMAZING! I would highly recommend the Kobe to anyone that was wanting to get an e-reader! Oh, the first book I am reading is Charlie St. Cloud (it is nothing like the movie!), I am enjoying it so far.

Snow Day!!

Desoto County Closed Monday. That was the one thing I kept looking for on news websites and on facebook. Finally, around 6pm I got my dream! The snow was so pretty falling last night. I couldn't wait to put on tons of clothes and go outside and play in it. But, I waited til about 10 til I ventured out. I ended up walking over to my friends Sarah and Clay Sartain. I felt like a little kid walking and knocking on their door and asking if Sarah could come out and play! We  had a blast doing a snowball fight and building snowmen! Here are some pictures of our afternoon! Enjoy
