Summer Bucket List and a Link-up

Ah, Sweet Summer Time!

I decided I was going to make a summer bucket list and blog about the ones that I cross off. I will not be making an extreme list that consists of 100 things to do. I know myself and I know that would never happen. So, I am sticking to 25-30 things that I want to do this summer.

Please link up and tell me what your summer bucket list is. I wish I had a cool button, but I have no idea how to make it! :)

Weekend Update

-->
Oh, how I love the weekends! This weekend was entirely to short, like usual.

Nathan and myself loaded up my car and headed north to Corinth for the weekend! What is a trip home without a stop in the greatest college town in Mississippi, Starkville, for a quick dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Stomboli’s. I love their pizza! After dinner, we finished the drive to Corinth and got settled in for our busy Saturday.

On Saturday morning Nathan, my mom, and myself headed over to Southaven to watch my nephew play baseball. Cullen won his first game! After the game we drove up to Germantown to visit my Great Aunt Betty and take her to lunch. We ate at Soul Fish CafĂ©. I had the best fried shrimp, crawfish, catfish, and hushpuppies. Way to much food, but it was oh so good!

We decided to watch Cullen play their last game of the day before heading back. Unfortunately they lost. L Ended our Saturday night sitting on the porch with my family listening to music. It was a great Saturday.

On Sunday, we got up and headed to my home church in Corinth, ate lunch at the Dinner Bell, and headed back to Brandon to get ready for the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! J

From Firsts to Lasts

First thing you do when you get to work
First thing that I do when I get to work is put my school bag down, get my laptop out and turn on, and hook it up to my smart board.

First vacation  you went on without your parents
First vacation without my parents  was my cruise my Junior year in college. It was an experience within its self!

The Friday Five

I have been in a HUGE blogging funk.  End of the year exhaustion has taken over my live. But, I am going to link up with Joy @ The Sowell Life for The Friday Five!

I am going to do a themed Friday Five

5 Things that Makes Me Happy

1. Reality TV. I love all reality TV. The Duggars, The Amish show, Big, Fat, American Gypsy Wedding, Bachelor/Bachelorette,  and right now I am loving me some Dancing with the Stars.

2. Summer is almost here!  Testing is over with. I only have 4.5 days left with students. Even though I am ready for some pool time, I am going to miss my class next year!

3. Road Trip! Excited that Nathan (boyfriend) and myself will be taking my new car on her first road trip to Corinth this weekend!

4. Friends! Thursday was a rough day with testing, root canal, and misunderstandings. So glad that my friends Heather, Heather, and Michelle just let me vent to them whenever I need to.

5. Pedicures! I am addicted about getting pedicures in the summer time. I need to learn how to give myself a at home pedicure. It would save me lots of money! :)

MCT2

My smart 4th graders are getting ready for the Mississippi Curriculum Test 2 this week. If you remember, please left them up in prayer on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. My students have been working so hard and I can’t wait for them to show me what they have learned.
I have made special treats for each day and I can’t wait to show them to you! Thanks again for the prayers!
